I am a resident of Los Angeles, California. A province in which Jaguar and its auto driving partner in crime, Waymo, have joined forces to create confusion and spread irritation in my day to day life.

Pros and cons of a Waymo car: Pros- they give me the right of way on my scooter, even when I’m the one in the wrong; they can’t risk that financial case. Also it’s somewhat safer for ladies to get home at night. Cons- the rest of the above. I have never been more disturbed in my life than when I’m behind a Waymo. I’m exaggerating of course, but you get the point. They go relative to the actual speed limit, which no one in LA does and they take forever to switch lanes/turn. Imagine an old lady driving a Kia Sorento listening to Billy Ray Cyrus. She keeps her blinker on for half a millennium before turning and sometimes doesn’t turn at all. This is just a fraction of what a Waymo is like. I don’t know, maybe I’m going overboard on this and maybe it is safer for the road community. But I am a free spirit type of driver. Waymos being in my way restricts my movements and irritate my soul. As long as there are less of them than their are real drivers, I’ll be ok. It’s just that sometimes, they become a distraction…by halting the flow of my car. How do you feel about Waymos? Do you approve of them or no? Or is it complicated?
