A debate that has struck in the heart of every family‘s household in America. Hamburgers vs. hotdogs, a debate as old as time. It’s one that I find perplexing and with no clear answer in sight.

Reason being, sometimes I want a nice hamburger, specifically a cheeseburger, and other times I want a hotdog. I feel like it depends on the situation; because sometimes you want/need one or the other. For example, it’s the Fourth of July and your pops is on the grill. At least in my household, we start off with burgers and/or hotdogs as a sort of appetizer. We then finish with the main course being ribs or tri-tip steak. I feel like with a burger, it fills you up too quick, whereas with a hotdog, you get to manage how much you intake a bit more before the main course. Also, it has a lot to do with the actual taste and preference. Personally, I would prefer the hotdog in most cases. It’s usually easier to make a really good hotdog than it is to make a really good burger. Burgers take more skill and expertise on the chefs side of things and not everybody has the talent for it. So the safer call would technically be the hot dog. Its dynamic range just makes sense for most occasions parties, picnics, and other gatherings.
I say I prefer hotdogs however, that preference might change in an instance and I may prefer the cheeseburger instead. It’s like a tipping scale sometimes it goes one way and sometimes it goes the other. It really just depends on how I feel that day. This is a question/argument that may never actually be answered amongst the human population. What are your thoughts on this issue? Do you prefer burgers over hotdogs or hotdogs over burgers?
