Super Bowl LX

Super Bowl 60 sure was one for the history books… I think. I was asleep for most of it. So maybe I’m not the best person to talk about the actual game, but I also doubt I’m the only one who was bored due to the amazing defense that was played by both sides early on in the game. Regardless I got to see what what I turned on the tv for.

The highlights for me: Bad Bunny, Kenneth Walker, and the $180 “LX Burger”. I don’t know how one finds a burger worth that much; that cow better have been read bedtime stories every night for extra tenderness or something. I went to Michigan State the same year that Kenneth “K9” Walker was there, so to see him shine was amazing and nearly made me shed a tear. He’s probably my favorite NFL player as of late.

Bad Bunny’s performance was special. I partially understood him, but I’m more of an instrumental guy anyways, lyrics come second for me. Everything from the choreography, to the set design, to the special guests, to the song list made it a great watch for me. There were most definitely messages that I failed to pick up on since it was my first watch, so I will be watching it again multiple times. Better yet, did you pick up on any of those messages? Also who’s your favorite NFL player?

Bad Bunny’s performance was amazing for me. The staging was really well thought out, and he doesn’t try to put himself at the center, which really reflects what he’s trying to convey in his music.

Hi Steven, I love this take. I caught the halftime show and enjoyed the spectacle too, though I definitely recognized fewer songs than I would’ve a decade ago 😅. I missed the ads this year—spent the evening with my 94-year-old grandmother, which felt like the right trade-off. No favorite NFL player for me… especially since the 49ers didn’t make the cut (haha).
