I am a member of the UCLA men’s basketball team, and with that accomplishment comes a certain luxury. Free travel to try new food. Big Ten towns usually have at least one good food spot that stays open late for students after they finish they’re all night partying.

D.P. Dough was the hotspot at Penn State for sure. I got hungry on my last night there and I wasn’t feeling the hotel food; our bus driver, team nutritionist (who used to go to said University), and a hotel employee all suggested D.P. Dough and man they weren’t over exaggerating. Even the uber eats driver was jealous of the delicacy I was about to indulge in.

I got their famous calzone with 3 different cheeses, some pepperoni and some extra protein with marinara dipping sauce on the side. I’m pretty basic when it comes to toppings but after that firs bite, I immediately regretted not buying two. If you are ever at Penn State, stopping by D.P. Dough is a must. What are some “open late nite” food spots that you know of?
